About Us
I was involved in all day to day activities of the department: evaluation of patients in the outpatient department,academic and management oriented rounds in wards and intensive care unit and regular work in operating theatres. Apart from performing routine neurosurgical operations I haveindependently performed major neurosurgical operations like excision of meningialtumors, glial tumors, skull base surgery, cerebrovascular surgery, spine surgery, spineinstrumentation and neurotrauma management.
I was trained in image guided minimalaccess surgery in this institute and was part of the combined team for craniofacialresections in association with Head and Neck Oncology team. I am acquainted with theuse of neuronavigation procedures. I was actively involved in research activities in theNeurosurgical field. The Hospital has a full fledged in house Oncology Department- Surgical,Radiation and Medical, along with whom we have weekly tumour board meetings. Hence weare able to follow our patient’s treatment in its entirety
